The Golden Eagles Wrestling team began their season this week. The team has grown in the off season with size and members. Coach Hubbard is glad to see more participation and is hopeful for the season. The team traveled to Frankton this week for their first match. At the JV Level - Scott Cunningham '29 (126) and Leo Walden '29 (150) recorded their first wins on the season. The varsity matches recorded several wins. Rafe Liechty '29 (106), Caden Muller '28 (113), Gabe Liechty '28 (126), Drew Uremovich '29 (138), Jack Hubbard '26 (190) all won by fall. Liam Skelly '29 (150) won by a forfeit. Unfortunately the Golden Eagles came up a few points short of the match win. Frankton won with a score of 48 to the Golden Eagles 36.
