4 Golden Eagle Wrestlers advanced from the sectionals at Elwood to regionals at Pendleton Heights. Rafe Liechty '29 (106) came in second in his weight class. He went 3 - 1 in sectional matches. He faces Cason Sweet '29 from Brebeuf Jesuit in his first match at the regional. Gabe Liechty '28 (126) came in third in his weight class. He would lose in the quarterfinal, forcing him to wrestle some additional matches to earn his spot in the regionals. He faces Jack Howay '27 from Bishop Chatard in his first match at the regional. Jospeh Dunasky '29 (132) also came in third in a similar circumstance to G. Liechty. He face Anthony Harmon '26 in his match at regional. Jack Hubbard '26 (190) would go 3 - 1 in the sectional. Hubbard will face Jody Dyer '27 from KIPP Indy Legacy in his opening match at regional. IHSAA Regional will be hosted by Pendelton Heights on Saturday, Feb 7.
