Four Golden Eagle Wrestlers advanced from the regional at Pendleton Heights to Semi State hosted by New Castle, Saturday, February 14. Rafe Liechty '29 (106) came in third in his weight class. He went 2 - 1 in regional matches. He faces Sebastian Stilts from New Palestine in his opening match on Saturday. Gabe Liechty '28 (126) came in fourth in his weight class. He went 1 - 2 in the class. He faces Dallas Rosenbarger, who is undefeated on the year, from Rossville. Jospeh Dunasky '29 (132) would also come in fourth in his weight class. He will face Richard Rogers from Franklin Central in his opening Semi State match. Jack Hubbard '26 (190) went 2 - 1 in the regional. Hubbard will face Nathan Shafer from New Castle in his opening match on Saturday.
