On Saturday, February 21st, Guerin Catholic hosted its annual Champions Together game that included Special Olympics of Hamilton County. The game was played at halftime of the boys basketball game vs. North Central. Champions Together is a collaborative partnership between the Indiana High School Athletic Association and Special Olympics Indiana that promotes servant leadership among students with and without intellectual disabilities aimed at empowering a generation of students to change their school culture to be more socially inclusive. In 2012, Guerin Catholic became a founding member of Champions Together and has continued to host these events year after year and remains committed to promoting the opportunties of students with intellectual disabilities. This year's student leaders of this event were seniors Lucy Esposito, Anna Kolb and Katie Kolb.
