Saturday night the Golden Eagles hosted Hamilton Heights in tightly contested game. The Golden Eagles would get the victory 52 - 38 but it wasn't until late that a solid lead was established. The Golden Eagles led at the end of the first quarter 15 - 12. #3 Robert Sorensen and #15 Hayden Rodgers hit some 3 pointers (2 and 1 respectively), that helped the team early in the game. The second quarter was a little more balanced with 4 players providing 8 points from the field, and another 3 points were scored from the free throw line. By half time, the Golden Eagles retained a 26 - 21 lead. The third quarter was to be no different, it was tight period as both defenses held their opponents to less than 10 points each. #22 Dylan Murrans would score 4 of the teams 9 points and after 3 it was 35 - 28. In the fourth quarter, Sorensen erupted by adding 12 more points when he hit 3 three pointers and went 3 for 4 at the free throw line.
