The Golden Eagle Boys Basketball team bounced back from a loss over the weekend, with a win over the Liberty Christian Lions by a score of 78 - 61. The team was led by Robert Sorensen '24 who went for 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists. The first half was evenly balanced as the Golden Eagles had the lead after the first quarter 20 - 12. The Lions would score 18 points to the Golden Eagles 13 points in the second quarter to make the score 33 - 30 at half time. Coming out from half time the Golden Eagles would score 20 points in the third quarter, while holding the Lions to 13. The Golden Eagles weren't done yet as they would score an additional 25 points in the fourth quarter. Final score 78 - 61. Jack Cherry '24 lead the team in assists with 8, he was perfect from the 3 point line, field goals, and free throws for a total of 12 points. Bryson Cardinal '25 had a double double, 19 points and lead the team with 10 rebounds.
