Last Friday, The Golden Eagle Boys Basketball team celebrated their Senior Night with a win over Lafayette Central Catholic 55 - 31. The boys jumped out to a 10 - 2 lead at the end of first quarter. It would eventually become 25 - 5 by half time. LCC would out score the Golden Eagles in the third quarter 16 - 11, but it would be too little, too late. The Golden Eagles sealed the game by scoring 19 points in the final quarter while holding LCC to 10 points. Robert Sorensen '24 had 21 points, 4 rebounds. Dylan Murans '24 had 11 points, 5 rebounds. Ben Grissom '24 had 7 points. Nik Balmuri '24 had 4 points, 3 rebounds. Bryson Cardinal '25 had 4 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists. Jack Cherry '24 had 2 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists. Andy Caron '24 had 2 points, 6 rebounds, and 1 assist. Malcolm Houze '25 had 2 points, 1 rebound, and 1 assist. Jake Grissom '27 had 2 points, 2 rebounds. The team is now 14 - 5, and faced the Noblesville Millers Saturday January 28 at 2:30.
