This week, the Boys Basketball team split their games on their home court. On Tuesday the boys lost to New Palestine in an exciting game 63 - 61. New Palestine was about to get off a buzzer beating lay up to seal the game. Last night the Golden Eagles hosted Indianapolis Washington and secured a comfortable 60 - 39 victory. The exciting part of this week was on Tuesday against, on his first attempt of the game, Robert Sorensen '24 hit a 3 point shoot that sent him over the 1000 point benchmark. He only need 2 points to break that recored headed into Tuesday night's game. On Thursday, Sorensen was recognized before the game with Coach Bobby Allen and his parents, by receiving a commemorative ball with his achievement.
