Golden Eagle Girls Basketball had a great year this year. The team reached 10 wins for the first time in Coach Cardinal's head coaching career. They were also .500 in the regular season. The Golden Eagles beat Heritage Christian for the first time in program history. Their tough schedule consisted of 7 Sectional Runner's Up, 6 Sectional Champions, 5 Regional Champions. Ava Bills '25 had a career high and a school record with 36 points against Purdue Polytechnic. The girls made having fun a priority and we had a lot of great team functions. Senior Roasts (held the day before Senior Night) being the highlight. "This team played incredibly hard all year and represented Guerin Catholic well. I am proud of these girls and all that they accomplished," Coach Cardinal said. "We have a large number of freshmen next year and we are super excited about having enough numbers in our program to create some internal competition. Next year we expect to continue to improve our record and the level of play that we are putting on the floor." The future is bright for the Golden Eagle Girls Basketball team!
