The Golden Eagles Boys and Girls Cross Country teams travelled to Taylor University over the weekend to compete in Taylor Cross Country Opener. The Girls Golden Eagles won the event with 3 girls finishing in the top 10, and 2 more in the top 20. Chloe Tragesser '29 came in 2nd, Brianna Wolf '27 came in 4th, Taylor Tragesser '28 came in 7th, Jillian Tichenor '29 came in 15th and Claire Flannagan '27 came in 20th. The Boys Golden Eagles came in second at the event. 3 boys would finish in the top 20, with all 5 finishing in the top 25. Cole Eckstein '27 came in 7th, Hunter Kinzle - Gorman '26 came in 12th, Sean Laferriere '27 would come in 16th rounding out the top 20. Ashton Sommer '27 and Austin Rankin '28 finished 27th and 35th respectively.
